Cogent Traveling Hospitalists are scheduled on a 7 on/7 off block for short-term assignments of 3 months or longer. Our Travelers work with the existing team of Cogent Hospitalists at each facility as a welcome addition to provide interim support. Cogent Travelers enjoy consistent administrative support and the same Cogent billing system wherever they work, as well as the guidance and camaraderie of Cogent Academy training.
Like locums assignments, we schedule travel to/from each assignment and provide furnished corporate housing during your scheduled time so Cogent Travelers have the comfort of a home away from home.
Cogent Traveling Hospitalists receive full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, medical malpractice, CME's, etc.), shift rate compensation and a quarterly bonus based on each shift worked.
